Axial Flow Pump
Axial Flow Propeller Pump
Axial flow propeller pumps are specifically designed for big flow rate and low head pumping requirements, and are suitable for situations where there is sufficient space and a horizontal piping system can be installed. Their axial flow structure can efficiently convey large volumes of fluid while reducing energy consumption. They are ideal for water circulation, irrigation, industrial cooling, and flood control. The elbow flow channels of this propeller pump reduce hydraulic losses, and its convenient design simplifies maintenance work. Horizontal axial flow propeller pumps perform reliably in continuous pumping applications and can be customized with various materials according to the pumped fluid, providing an economical and efficient solution for large-capacity fluid transportation needs.

Performance
With optimized design and advanced hydraulic models, our axial flow propeller pumps have a wide performance range that can cover the needs for most of our clients. We may also offer tailored made propeller pumps to meet the different requirements, below are the typical specifications of our axial flow pumps.
■ Capacity: Q=250~30,000(m³/h)
■ Head: H=8~1.5 (m)
■ Speed range: n=180~1450 rpm
■ Fluid density: ≤1.5
■ Fluid temperature: 0~180℃
■ Fluid viscosity: ≤600(mm2/s)
■ Pump diameter: Ф200mm~3000 mm
The axial flow propeller pumps are mainly used for large amount water transferring or circulation purposes, which always require big flow rate with low discharge pressure.
■ Propeller blades are adjustable.
■ Slow speed design, low NPSHr value.
■ Elbow flow patch resulting in superior hydraulic performance.
■ Pipe hung mounting, no baseplate is needed.
■ API682 flush plans enable the sealing performance.
■ Cartridge double mechenical seal, leakage free.
Due to the large flow rate and continuous duty operation of axial flow propeller pumps, they must be designed with robust structure to enable the smooth operation.

![]() | K-pipe hung arrangement No baseplate for both pump and motor,no expansion joint on pipe. The Axial Flow Propeller Pump is driven by motor through V-belts.This arrangement is only applicable for the pump diameter from 300-500mm and motor capacity below 55Kw. |
![]() | E-half pipe hung arrangement No baseplate for axial propeller pump, pump is hung on the pipe,no expansion joint on pipe. For big axial pumps above 700mm diameter, there must be a fluctuating frame at the horizontal pipe connecting the pump.Only V-belts and universal joint are recommended as the transmission method for this arrangement. |
![]() | F-horizontal arrangement Baseplate is required for both axial propeller pump and electric motor. An expansion joint on the pipe is also required for high temperature applications. Transmission methods can be V-belts and direct coupled. |
For easy maintenance purpose, the above mentioned arrangements require a casing between horizontal pipe and the propeller pumps. | |
The material of construction of propeller pumps can be highly customized according to the specific requirements of application, we offer wide range of materials for our axial flow propeller pumps.
